We’re excited to share that the EU Policy Roundtable organised by Q-PLAN INTERNATIONAL within the frame of the MARINEWIND project was a great success! The event brought together key voices to discuss priorities and actionable insights for a resilient offshore wind future in Europe.

Highlights:
We had the honour of welcoming Dr. Matthijs Soede, EC Policy Officer, who presented the European Commission’s perspective on offshore wind, focusing on the European Ocean Pact.

Our esteemed panellists — Capucine Vannoorenberghe, Dr. Heiko Keller, Astrid Green, and Marko Kovacevic — shared valuable insights and priorities for strengthening the offshore wind sector for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The discussion focused on stakeholder engagement and co-creation for social acceptance, recommendations to improve public acceptance of Floating Offshore Wind Technologies (FOWTs), and how we can leverage data to shape local FOWT strategies across EU Member States.

A big thank you to our speakers and participants for the inspiring and fruitful discussions. Events like this help us move closer to a sustainable and resilient offshore wind future!
