Meet the experts involved in Panel 1 “Tackling Deployment Challenges” at the MARINEWIND Final Conference!

Marlene Mitchell from the Port of Aberdeen and Hugh Riddell representing Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult will engage in an insightful discussion to explore:

🔹 The role played by the Floating Offshore Wind Innovation Centre (FLOWIC) and the Port of Aberdeen, highlighting their impact on technology validation, commercial readiness and wind project development.

🔹 The state of the art of the #port readiness, along with the investments and planning support needed to scale up infrastructures for floating offshore wind.

🔹 Actions to be undertaken for the creation of a more resilient UK supply chain for floating offshore wind, investigating the potential role of  innovation hubs, regional clusters and SMEs.

The session will be moderated by Inès Tunga from Energy Systems Catapult, who will provide a thematic introduction to Panel 1 based on MARINEWIND results.
