On March 8, Q-PLAN INTERNATIONAL organized its 2nd MARINEWIND co-creation Workshop in Greece, at the Renewable EnergyTech, delving deep into the world of Floating Offshore Wind Technologies (FOWT).

Through the workshop’s rich program, more than 50 participants were informed about the legislative framework, the benefits as well as the existing technologies related to FOWT. In addition, the critical barriers and enablers for the development of FOWT in Greece were discussed in detail taking into account all specificities of the Greek seas.

The results of the workshop, as well as the conclusions drawn from them, will feed the future activities of MARINEWIND and contribute to Greece’s path towards the development of FOWT.
