Exciting times for offshore wind energy!

We are thrilled to share that our partner, Rosalie Tukker, Senior Policy Advisor at Europêche, participated in the panel discussion “Balancing Nature, Climate and People at Sea: Nature-positive Offshore Wind”, organized by WWF European Policy Office (WWF EU) and BirdLife Europe & Central Asia, held on Thursday, 3rd October at the European Parliament in Brussels.

This insightful event brought together key stakeholders to discuss the future of offshore wind and its balance with environmental conservation and people. As offshore wind continues to grow, innovative projects like MARINEWIND are leading the charge in ensuring sustainable development. With wind energy set to meet a significant portion of Europe’s energy needs, collaboration between policy experts, industry leaders, local users and communities, and nature-focused initiatives is critical.
